Since embracing Islam in 2009, she has actively contributed to community development through her work at Green Lane Masjid, including tarbiya circles, public speaking classes and revert support services. With a strong commitment to challenging Islamophobia and improving media narratives around Muslims; she promotes positive representation of Muslims within mainstream media.
