Shaykh Dr. Sajid Ahmed Umar is a UK-born scholar, author, and qualified Judge with a PhD in Islamic Judiciary, specialising in Sharīʿah-compliant finance and risk management. He serves as Director of Islamic Development at Mercy Mission and Chair of the Scholars’ Panel at Islamic Finance Advisory, while also leading Knowtion Advisory. He lectures globally through AlKauthar Institute and Knowledge International University and advises key organisations including AMJA and the National Waqf Foundation.
